Nihar Shah, CFP^®, is a Financial Advisor at Shah Wealth Advisors and is proud to be part of the practice Sidd started back in 1997. Nihar graduated from UCLA with a degree in economics and earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation in March 2025.

Before joining the firm, Nihar spent time building his foundation in financial services. At Fidelity Investments, he worked as a Regional Investment Consultant, partnering with a wide network of financial advisors to discuss market outlook, assist with portfolio construction, and navigate mutual fund, ETF, and SMA strategies. He then moved to Capital Group, where he led enterprise-wide change initiatives as a Senior Project Analyst. That mix of investment consulting and strategic project work is something he brings to client relationships every day — both on the analytical side and in big-picture thinking.

Outside of work, Nihar genuinely enjoys giving back. He volunteers with Consult Your Community, where he assists university students to provide pro bono consulting for small, minority-owned businesses, and mentors elementary students through the Read to a Child program to help them build their literacy skills. When he’s not in the office, you’ll likely find him traveling — Banff and Vietnam are his all-time favorites — hiking local trails, or taking a walk along the beach in Santa Monica. Nihar has played cricket for over 15 years and closely follows the NBA, the NFL, and the Indian national cricket team. On weekends, he’s usually out exploring a new coffee shop or restaurant somewhere around LA.
